Possible Causes (Scanner)
• Dirty exposure glass
• Wrong scan threshold
• Contact image sensor (LED, sensor element) defect
Action:
1. Clean the exposure glass.
2. Adjust the scan threshold settings using Function 10-2.
(See section 4.1.15)
3. Replace the image sensor.
Possible Causes (Printer)
• The thermal head or the platen roller is not in the correct position.
Action:
1. Check if the thermal head and the platen roller is in the correct position.
