Adjust the tx levels of the communicating machines.

6-10 G3 ECM - error frames
still received at the other
end after all
communication attempts
at 2400 bps
Check for line noise.
Adjust the tx level (use NCU parameter 01 or the
dedicated tx parameter for that address).
Check the line connection.
Defective remote terminal.
6-11 G3 ECM - printing
impossible because of a
missing first line in the
MMR coding
Check for problems in the printer mechanism.
6-21 V.21 flag detected during
high speed modem
communication
The other terminal may be defective or incompatible.
6-39 V.21 signal not stopped
within 6 s
Replace the FCU.

6.4.1. Defective Sensor Table
Sensor Symptoms if Defective
Document sensor "CLEAR ORIGINAL" or "DIAL FAX NO." is
displayed at power-up.
"SET DOC. OR DIAL NO." is still displayed
after a document is placed in the feeder.
Scan line sensor "CLEAR ORIGINAL" is displayed at power-
up.
"CLEAR ORIGINAL" is displayed soon after
the start of copying.
Cover open/Paper end sensor "REPLACE PAPER" and "CLOSE COVER"
are displayed at power-up.
