Cable kinking or breaking can occur for several reasons. To prevent this, avoid forcing the cable and let the auger do the work. Ensure you are using the correct cable for the pipe and only use reverse if the cable gets caught. Routinely clean the cables and support the cable properly, following the instructions. If the cable is worn out, replace it. If the AUTOFEED unit is full of debris, clean it and lubricate it with lightweight machine oil. Also, pull all the cable out and feed it again, evenly distributing it. Place the cleaner on a level, stable surface.
