Why does wood burns at tailstock end of my RIDGID Lathe?
- AAdrian CherrySep 12, 2025
If the wood burns at the tailstock end of your RIDGID Lathe, the cup center may be too tight or not lubricated. Back off the tailstock ram and lubricate the cup center. Consult the Basic Lathe Operation Section, specifically “Spindle Turning,” for more details.
