MediorNet TDM 7.2 User Manual I00

This feature allows protecting nets and frames against unauthorized access.
Users with the permission 'Account Management' and the user 'admin' are able to create other users and
configure the permissions for nets and frames individually.
The administrator (username 'admin') cannot be removed
and always has the permission 'Account Management'.

Selection of the net.
Users and permissions will be configured for each net.
A user may have different rights in different nets.

Permissions
An enabled checkbox enables the user rights in the selected net.
By default the user rights are disabled.
Button to add a new user (see figure New Account).
After entering the name, the password needs to be entered twice.
The password must have a minimum length of 6 characters.
Button to remove the selected user.
The account "admin" cannot be removed.
Button to the change the password of the selected user (see figure Change Password).
The password must have a minimum length of 6 characters.
Button to edit the permissions of the selected user (see Edit Permissions).
Button to save all entries. If the window is closed without saving, all entries/changes will
be discarded.
