TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Steamer won’t heat.
Water is leaking.
Steamer won’t
steam.
Steamer leaves spots
on clothing.
Wrinkles not
removed.
Ironing surface too
hot.
PROBABLE CAUSE
• Is steamer plugged in and the outlet working?
Check outlet by plugging in a lamp.
• Is the Temperature Control Dial turned to a fabric
setting?
• If steaming or steam ironing, is the Temperature
Control Dial set to the maximum temperature
setting? Has the steamer had enough time to
preheat?
• If dry ironing, make sure the Steam Button isn’t
activated.
• Check water level.
• Is the Temperature Control Dial in the (Steam)
position?
• Has the steamer had enough time to preheat?
• ALWAYS empty water tank after using. Water
left in tank may discolor clothing and soleplate.
• Check Temperature Control Dial is set to correct
fabric.
• Check Temperature Control Dial and set to lower
setting. Let steamer cool down 5 minutes before
continuing.
