Oncethecontrolboxisturnedoninthetestmode,theboatoperatorcan
turnthecontrolboxoffbyholdingdownallfourbuttonsonthekeypad
simultaneously.

Important: If the control box is turned on in the test mode and
subsequently receivesa signalto turnit on via the accessory
input, theboatoperator cannotturnoffthecontrol boxby
holding down all four buttons on the key pad. The box will only
turnoffbyremovingthesignalfr
omtheaccessoryinput.


StoppingYourBoat
Aboathasnobrakes.Stoptheboatbyallowingittoslowdowntoless
than5milesperhourandthenputtingtheengineinreverse.Slowly
increasing reverse power will allow you to stop the boat in a short
distance.Rememberthataboatdoesnotrespondtosteeringinreverse
aswellasitdoeswhengoingforward.







 Alwaysbeawareoflocallawsonnoiselimits.Noisemeansengine
noise, radio noise or even yelling by people on your boat. Good
seamanshipdemandsthatyouoperateyourboatquietlysoasnot







Anchoring is necessary if you stop for recreation or an emergency.
Practiceanchoringtechniquestomakesureyouknowwhattodowhen
an emergency occurs. The size and weight of your boat govern the
