These instructions cover the models of Robatherm Hot Water Urns listed above. Although there

are slight variances between them, the installation, care and maintenance procedure is the same

for all. The Operation Procedure differs slightly between the Fixed thermostat and Variable

Thermostat Versions.

Operation

Variable Temperature Control Mode

Mode switch to 'VARIABLE' allows temperature control via graduated knob for special applications.

Preset Temperature Control Mode

Mode switch to 'PRESET 95°C' fixes temperature for tea/coffee. Knob does not alter temp in this mode.

Before First Use

See installation. Position urn away from edge. Clean oil residue with soapy water, boil, drain, rinse.

General Use

Ensure plug is dry. Fill urn with jug/hose, do not overfill. Urns are heavy when full, do not move when hot.

Special Notes for Preset Mode

Internal sensor controls heating. Not suitable for high altitudes (>800m); use Variable mode instead.

Urn Not Heating

Check plug, power switch, circuit breaker, earth leakage device, and thermostat setting.

Urn Boils Continuously

Adjust thermostat below 100°C for Variable Mode. Use Variable Mode at high altitudes (>800m).
