up the ring-screw 8.12 and fit the block on it.
- Close the loop of the ring-screw again and screw it into the
reinforcement on the tension rail.
- Place the tension rail on the screw plate and drill the holes
as shown in Fig. 99. Establish the position of the stop-strip
8.13 and glue the strip in place. The tension rail can now
be attached to the screw plate using the screws 8.14.
- Fit the winch drum 8.15 on the sailwinch. Place the winch
assembly on the underside of the deck and position the
drum in the centre of the hatch opening. In this position
glue the support rail and the blocks in place. The tension
rail 8.10 must not be glued to the deck girder 5.1 - Fig.
101.

- The mountings for the foresail winch are assembled outsi-
de the model - Fig. 99, page 26.
- File a notch in the centre of the support rail 8.1 as shown.
- Glue the bridge piece 8.2 to it leaving a slot into which the
winch 8.3 can be pushed.
- Fix the screw plate 8.4 to the cable end of the winch using
the screws 8.5.
- Glue the blocks 8.6 to the tongues 8.7. Screw the assem-
bly 8.6 / 8.7 to the screw plate 8.4 using the screws 8.8.
- Glue the reinforcements 8.9 to the spruce tension rail 8.10.
Drive in the screw 8.8 to a depth of about 3 mm.
- Drill out the pulley block 8.11 to 2 mm Ø (Fig. 100). Open
