4.1 Orientation of the photovoltaic panels

When orientating the photovoltaic panel, it must be adjusted so that it tilts
40° in relation to the horizontal plane; its surface must be facing south.
5 Installation and connections
Installation must only be carried out by qualied personnel who must provide a
suitable fastening system, including suitable mechanical supports to make the
installation safe, considering the stresses to which it may be subjected due to
wind, atmospheric agents etc.
As regards electrical connections, refer to the gures; use a cable with double
insulation (see the table of recommended connection cables); the cable chosen
must be suitable for the type of installation.
The positive terminal of the panel "+" must be connected to the terminal "+" of
B71/PBX (terminal 12 for PAN1; terminal 14 for PAN2); the terminal "-" of the
panel must be connected to the terminal "-" of B71/PBX (terminal 11 for PAN1;
terminal 13 for PAN2).
Verify the correct polarity at the ends of the connection cables before connecting
to B71/PBX; the wrong connection causes an excessive passage of current and
can damage B71/PBX.
