Lan Services
The available network adapters can be configured independently. One is accessed via
the LAN connector on the front panel, the other via the LAN REMOTE connector on the
rear panel. The name of the network adapter is the same as in the "Network Connections"
dialog of the operating system. Observe the following rules for IP addresses:

The following applies when using the R&S CMW500 for protocol testing (R&S
CMW-KP080 installed). If the Data Application Unit is installed (R&S CMW-B450A),
the default configuration of the LAN REMOTE network adapter accessed via the rear
panel (IP address 172.22.x.3, subnet mask 255.255.0.0) can be changed. Note: This
IP address must not be changed if the Data Application Unit is absent.
