Roland E-35 - Starting the Style

The Display will show the new Music
Style number and name.

* Anew style can be selected while the
Rhythm is playing. In this operation,
the new style will not take the preset
tempo but the tempo of the previous
style.
The pre-selection can be cancelled by
pushing again the same BANK button.
STARTING THE STYLE
The style can be started in three ways:
1. Press the START/STOP button [16]
and the style will start immediately.
2. Press the SYNC START button [9]
(see ARRANGER) (Led lights).
Then press a key in the accompani-
ment section of the keyboard. The
style will automatically start.
3. Press the INTRO/ENDING button
[15]. The style will begin with a mu-
sical “introduction”, length of which
depends on the style selected.
While the style is playing, the
START/STOP Led will flash in time
with the tempo set, the downbeat (first
beat) of the measure will flash longer.
When the style is stopped, the Led will
just flash the beat of the tempo set.

Das Display wird Nummer und Namen
des neuen Rhythmus anzeigen.
* Auch wenn gerade ein Rhythmus
spielt, kann ein neuer Rhythmus ab-
gerufen werden. In diesem Fall spielt
der neue Rhythmus jedoch nicht in
dem fir ihn voreingestellten Tempo,
sondern im Tempo des alten
Rhythmus. Die Vorgabeeinstellung
kann durch erneutes Driicken der sel-
ben BANK-Taste geléscht werden.
STARTEN DES RHYTHMUS
Zum Starten des Rhythmus gibt es drei
verschiedene Méglichkeiten:
. Um den Rhythmus direkt zu starten,
driicken Sie die START/STOP-Taste
[16].
2. Um den Rhythmus automatisch syn-
chron zum ersten Anschlagen einer
der Tasten des Manualabschnitts fir
Begleitung starten zu lassen, drik-
ken Sie die SYNC START-Taste [9]
(siehe ARRANGER). Die zugehérige
Led leuchtet auf.
3.Um dem Rhythmus mit einem
musikalischen ‘‘Auftakt” einzuleiten,
dessen Lange vom gewahlten Rhyth-
ray
mus abhangt, driicken Sie die IN-.
TRO/ENDING-Taste [15].
Wahrend der Rhythmus spielt, blinkt
die Led der START/STOP-Taste im
Takt zum eingestellten Tempo, wobei
der erste Taktschlag jedes Taktes
durch langeres Aufleuchten angezeigt
wird. Bei gestopptem Rhythmus gibt
die Led nur die Taktschlage fiir das ein-
gestellte Tempo an.

* Vous pouvez sélectionner un nov-
veau style alors qu’un Rythme est en
train de jouer. Dans ce cas, le nou-
veau style ne prendra pas le tempo
pré-établi mais le tempo du style
précédent.
La réservation peut étre annulée en
pressant & nouveau la méme touche de
BANK.
DEPART DU STYLE
Le rythme peut démarrer des 3 facons
suivantes:
. Pressez le bouton START/STOP [16]
et le rythme démarrera immédia-
tement.
2. Pressez le bouton SYNC START [9]
(voir ARRANGER) (Led allumée).
Ensuite pressez une note dans le sec-
tion accompagnement du clavier. Le
rythme commencera automati-
quement.
. Pressez le bouton INTRO/ENDING
[15]. Le rythme commencera avec
une “introduction” musicale, dont la
longueur dépendra du morceau sélec-
tionné.
Pendant l’exécution du morceau, la Led
START/STOP clignotera au tempo
établi, le premier temps de la mesure
s’allumera plus longtemps. Quand le
rythme est arrété, la Led clignotera
seulement la mesure du tempo établi.
