FILL-IN
While playing the basic (original) Style,
a Fill-in can be inserted by pressing the
FILL-IN «TO ORIGINAL» button [13].
This will result in a one measure fill-in
and on completion will return to the
basic Style.
While playing in the Variation, press-
ing the FILL-IN “TO VARIATION”
button will result in a one measure fill-
in and then on completion will return
to the Variation.
If playing in the basic (original) Style
and the FILL-IN “TO VARIATION”
button is pressed, a one measure fill-in
will occur and on completion will auto-
matically proceed into the Variation of
the Style. Likewise if playing in the
Variation of a Style and the FILL-IN
“TO ORIGINAL” button is pressed, a
one measure fill-in will occur and on
completion will automatically proceed
to play the original Style.
* Ifeither of the FILL-IN buttons are
pressed within the 1st and 8rd beats
(1st and 2nd on Waltz 3/4 Styles, and
first only on Polka 2/4 Style), the fill-
in will be performed for the re-
mainder of that measure. If either of
the FILL-IN buttons are pressed wi-
thin the 4th beat (8rd on Waltz
Styles, 2nd on 2/4 Styles), this oper-
ation will be interpreted as a
preselection of the fill-in to start at
the downbeat of the next measure.
INTRO/ENDING
Without the Style playing, pressing the
INTRO/ENDING button [15] (Led
lights) will start the Style which will be-
gin with a musical “introduction”,
length of which depends on the Style
selected.
When the INTRO/ENDING button is
pressed with the Style playing, a musi-
cal «ending» will begin at the next
downbeat, the length of which depends
on the Style selected.
MELODY INTELLIGENCE
Pressing the MELODY INTELLI-
GENCE button [35] (Led lit) automati-
cally adds a musical counter-melody no-
te to single-note melodies. MELODY
INTELLIGENCE will only function
when in ARRANGER Mode and with
UPPER Led lit. The feature operates
with or without the Style playing. The
harmonizing notes added to the melo-
dy are programmed by the type of
chord that you play on the lower
keyboard.
MELODY INTELLIGENCE will only
function while a note (s) is played in the
Upper section together with a recogni-
zed Chord in the ARRANGER section
or held with the MEMORY feature.
Pressing the same button again will
turn off MELODY INTELLIGENCE
(Led turned off).
FILL-IN
Wahrend ein Originalrhythmus spielt
kann durch Driicken der TO ORIGI-
NAL-Taste [13] ein Fill-In eingefigt
werden. Das Fill-In besteht aus einem
Takt, wonach wieder zum Original-
rhythmus gewechselt wird.
Bei Rhythmus-Variationen kann mit
der TO VARIATION-Taste ein Fill-In
von der Lange eines Taktes eingefiigt
werden, wonach wieder zur Rhythmus-
Variation gewechselt wird.
Wird die TO VARIATION-Taste ge-
driickt wahrend ein Original-Rhythmus
spielt, erhalt man ein Fill-In, wonach
automatisch zur Variation des Rhyth-
mus gewechselt wird. Im umgekehrten
Fall, wenn die TO ORIGINAL-Taste
betatigt wird, wahrend eine Rhythmus-
Variation spielt, wird nach dem Fill-In
zum Original-Rhythmus gewechselt.
* Wenn eine der beiden FILL-IN-
Tasten beim ersten bis dritten Takt-
schlag (erster und zweiter bei Wal-
zern, nur der erste bei 2/4-Takt-
Polka) gedriickt wird, wird das
FILL-IN fiir den Rest des Taktes ge-
spielt. Wird eine der beiden FILL-
IN-Tasten beim vierten Taktschlag
(dritter Taktschlag bei Walzern und
zweiter bei Polka) gedriickt, setzt das
Fill-In mit dem ersten Taktschlag
des nachsten Taktes ein.
AUFTAKT/SCHLU&TAKT
(INTRO/ENDING)
Wenn Sie die Taste INTRO/ENDING
bei angehaltenem Rhythmus driicken
(Led leuchtet auf), erklingt eine musi-
kalische Einleitung in der von Ihnen ge-
spielten Tonart. Die Lange der
Einleitung hangt von dem gerade an-
gewahlten Rhythmus ab.
Drticken Sie hingegen die INTRO/EN-
DING-Taste [15] bei eingeschaltetem
Rhythmus, so spielt der Arranger ab
dem ersten Schlag des nachsten Tak-
tes eine Coda-Figur und beendet das
Sttick.
MELODY INTELLIGENCE
(Melodieautomatik)
Die Melodieautomatik figt einer von
Ihnen monophon gespielten Melodie ei-
ne musikalisch sinnvolle zweite Stimme
hinzu. Die Melodieautomatik arbeitet
nur in dem ARRANGER-Modus.
Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob ein
Rhythmus spielt oder nicht. Die zur Me-
lodie hinzugefiigte Linie wird durch den
von Ihnen gespielten Akkord bestimmt.
Um die Melodieautomatik einzuschal-
ten, driicken Sie die Taste MELODY
INTELLIGENCE [35]. Die Led leu-
chet auf. Die Melodieautomatik arbei-
tet nur, wenn Sie eine Note im
UPPER-Bereich zusammen mit einem
Akkord im linken Bereich der Klavia-
tur spielen oder mit der MEMORY-
Funktion ein Akkord gespeichert ist.
Ein zweites Driicken der MELODY
INTELLIGENCE-Taste schaltet die
Melodieautomatik wieder ab (Led aus).

FILL-IN
Pendant que 1’on joue d’un style origi-
nal, un «Fill-In» peut étre inséré en
pressant la touche «TO ORIGINAL»
[13]. Il en résulte un ‘‘Break’”’ (FILL-
IN) d’une mesure et & la fin de celle-ci,
un retour au style original.
Pendant que 1’on joue d’une variation,
presser la touche “TO VARIATION”
entraine un break d’une mesure puis un
retour 4 la variation. Si l’on joue d’un
style original et si l’on presse la touche
“TO VARIATION”, un break d’une
mesure est déclenché et ensuite le sty-
le passe automatiquement en mode va-
riation. Pareillement si l’on joue d’une
variation et si ]’on presse la touche «TO
ORIGINAL» un break d’une mesure est
déclenché et est suivi d’un retour au
style original.
* Si l'une ou l’autre des touches de
FILL-IN est pressée dans les trois
premiers temps d’une mesure (deux
premiers dans les styles Walzer a
trois temps et premier seulement
dans les styles Polka 4 deux temps)
le FILL-IN se déclenche pour la fin
de cette mesure. Si ]’une ou l’autre
des touches FILL-IN est pressée du-
rant le 4éme temps (3éme dans les
styles valse et deuxiéme dans le sty-
le Polka), cette manoeuvre sera in-
terprétée comme une présélection de
FILL-IN devant démarrer 4 la me-
sure suivante.
INTRO/FIN
Quand le style n’est pas en fonction, le
fait de presser la touche INTRO/EN-
DING [15] (la diode s’allume), déclen-
che le style avec une “introduction”
musicale dont la longueur dépend du
style choisi.
Quand la touche INTRO/ENDING est
pressée pendant que le style est en
fonction, une “fin” musicale est déclen-
chée au temps fort suivant, fin dont la
longueur dépend du style choisi.
MELODY INTELLIGENCE
En pressant la touche MELODY
INTELLIGENCE [35] (la diode
s’allume), on ajoute automatiquement
un contre-chant d’une note aux mélo-
dies 4 une note.
La fonction MELODY INTELLI-
GENCE n’est accessible qu’en mode
ARRANGER. Cette fonction opére,
que le style joue ou non. Les notes
d’harmonie ajoutées 4 la mélodie sont
programmées en fonction du type
d’accord que vous jouez au clavier en
mode ARRANGER.
La fonction MELODY IN?TELLI-
GENCE n’opérera que lorsqu’tné Note
(au moins) est jouée ou tenue avec la
fonction MEMORY.
Presser & nouveau la touche MEJLODY
INTELLIGENCE pour annuler cette
fonction (la diode s’éteint).
