This piano contains a wide variety of tones (sounds).

You can freely select and perform using these tones.

For a list of the sounds, refer to “Tone List.” (p. 26)

Play two layered tones (Dual Play)

You can layer two tones on a single key.

Play dierent tones with your left and right hands (Split Play)

You can divide the keyboard into left and right zones, and select a dierent tone for each zone.

Why does my Roland FP-60 Musical Instrument play other notes when I press a key?

  Sometimes, when you press a key, another note (an integer multiple of the first note's frequency) may resonate, creating the sensation that the sound has changed. This isn't a malfunction. To resolve this, lower the Piano Designer’s “String Resonance” value, or turn it off completely.

What to do if I hear a high-pitched ringing from my Roland FP-60 Musical Instrument?

  If you hear a high-pitched ringing sound, and you also hear it through headphones, try decreasing the Ambience and String Resonance settings. However, if you don’t hear the ringing through headphones, it may indicate a malfunction of the piano. In this case, please contact your dealer or a Roland customer service center.
