GAIA SH-01 System Update Version 1.04
This system program updates your GAIA SH-01 to the latest version 1.04.
How to know the version
Before you start, check the system program version of your GAIA SH-01.
1. Switch on the power to the unit.
2. Hold down [CANCEL/SHIFT] and press [TRANSPOSE].
3. The [TRANSPOSE] Button flashes and the version number of the
program is displayed using the indicators.
Ver.1.02: The [CANCEL/SHIFT] button, the WRITE
PROTECT indicator and the [NUMBER 2] button light.
Ver.1.03: The [CANCEL/SHIFT] button, the WRITE
PROTECT indicator and the [NUMBER 3] button light.
Ver.1.04: The [CANCEL/SHIFT] button, the WRITE
PROTECT indicator and the [NUMBER 4] button light.
In this case, there's no need to update it.
4. After verifying the version, press [CANCEL/SHIFT].
5. The unit returns to normal operation.
Update history
Ver.1.04
Improved the Power Save Mode so that it does not function while an
arpeggio is performing.
Improved the behavior when shutting down a personal computer
connected with SH-01 via USB.
* This does not guarantee that all personal computer will operate
correctly with SH-01.
Ver.1.03
Supported the GAIA SYNTHESIZER SOUND DESIGNER (SD-SH01).
Added a System parameter which can set the PCM sound generator
parts to OFF.
(GAIA SH-01 comes with a multitimbral PCM sound generator (Number
of parts: 15) that supports GM2 sound mapping in addition to a Virtual
analog synthesizer sound generator (Number of part: 1).)
The procedure for setting the System parameter is the followings. The
parameter is called "GM Parts Switch".
