4.1
Transposing
(same
fingering,
different
notes)
You
can
play
in
a
different
key—
without
changing
the
keys
you
are
playing.
That
way,
even
songs
originally
written
in
a
difficult
key
with
many
;
(sharps)
or,
(flats)
(i.e.
with
many
black
keys),
can
be
played
in
a
more
convenient
way.
This
is
especially
useful
when
you
are
used
to
playing
a
given
song
in
one
key,
while
someone
else
wants
you
to
play
it
in
another
key:
just
change
the
Transpose
setting
and
you're
there.
The
transposition
remains
in
effect
until
you
change
it
or
until
you
switch
off
the
HP-147e.
