Setting the MIDI Transmit/Receive Channels
MIDI allows you to play sounds on an external unit, or change the sounds used (only if
the channels (Numbered 1-16) on the transmitter and receiver match).
To match transmission and reception channels:
Press the FUNCTION button (the indicators on the TRACK 1 and TRACK 2 but-
tons should both light). If only one of them is lit, hold down the FUNCTION
button while you press both buttons.
While holding down the FUNCTION button, press the key that corresponds to
the desired MIDI channel.
