can write

cannot
be changed

like their

colors,
but the
names
of the

preprogrammed
patches
can
be
changed
as you
like.

tone color, with the 7th let-

the left flashing. This tells
you
that the 1
letters from
the 7th are ready
to be
changed. Enter-
ing new
letters will replace the old ones.

you like. The Display responds

a space.
Then
the
JX-8P is returned to the
Play
mode. Here,
the Display responds as
above with the tone number
flashing. This tells you
that the tone color and /or

edited but not yet
written

the-
refore selecting other
patch program will
automati-
cally erase
this
patch.
If you wish to
retain
the
edited
tone color,
the
following Writing
procedure
is required.
