EDIT
MODE
Like
any
analog
synthesizer, the
JX-8P had various
parameters
which
can
be edited for
sound
synthesis.
The
JX-8P,
however,
does not
feature
l<nobs or swit-
ches
on
its panel
for
you to touch or
move.
Instead,
there
are
two methods of
synthesizing.
One is call-
ing
each
parameter
and
changing
its value
with the
Edit
Konb.
The other
is using
the
optional progra-
mmer
PG-800 which works
just
like
pane! con-
trols
of
a
synthesizer.
A. EDITING
WITHOUT
PROGRAMMER
A nubmer
(1
1
to 95)
is assigned to each parameter.
Call
the parameter whose value you
wish
to change
by
using
the Tone Selector Buttons

*Use
the Edit
Map
located in the
right
to
the
Tone
Selector
Buttons
©
to
find
out
the number of
each
parameter.
For quicker and easier editing
or synthesis from
scratch,
the
PG-800
may
be
essential.

Call the
patch you
wish
to
edit
by
using
the
Bank
Selector
Button and the Tone Selector
Button.

The
JX-8P
is
turned to
the Edit mode,
Display will
show

Pressing the
