EXTERNAL
CONNECTIONS
There
are
many
ways
of
connecting
the
Composer
to
other
instruments,
special
effects
and
external
controls,
especially
through
the use
of
MIDI.
This
Chapter
describes
how
to
use
these
connections
which
can
all be
found
on
the
back
panel
of
the
Composer.
a.
Multi
Output
There
is
a
separate
output
socket
for
each
voice.
All
voices
are
normally
summed
together at
the
Master
output.
Any
voices
taken
out
separately
will
be
subtracted
from
the
total.
Effect
units
may
be
Echo,
Delay,
Reverb,
Graphic
Equalizer,
Flanger,etc.
b.
Trigger
Output, Start/Stop
A positive
5 volt pulse of
20ms is
available
in
the
same
interval as
written
Hi
Agogo.
An
external
Pedal
Switch
preforms
the same
func-
tion as
Start/Stop.

below.)
Producing
special
sound
by a
synthesizer.
