Bedienung der Pumpe
Pump Operation
Hydrantenbetrieb
- Tragkraftspritze in guter Position zur Wasserentnahmestelle in
Stellung bringen:
◊ Schräglage des Motors beachten (max. 17°) - siehe techni-
sche Daten BMW.
◊ Pumpe nicht auf brennbaren Untergrund (Gras, Laub, Stroh,
etc.) stellen.
- Entlüftungspumpe ausschalten.
◊ Hebel (Z9) nach unten drücken und hineinschieben.
- Zubringerschläuche und Druckschläuche anschließen.
- Druckausgänge öffnen.
- Hydrantenventil öffnen.
◊ Vor dem Ankuppeln des Druckschlauches an den Hydranten,
das Hydrantenventil solange öffnen, bis "reines" Wasser
austritt.
- Wenn Kupplung vorhanden, Pumpe auskuppeln:
◊ Hebel (Z3) nach unten drücken.
- Motor starten - siehe "Starten des Motors".
- Bei Leerlaufdrehzahl langsam einkuppeln.
- Drehzahl erhöhen, bis gewünschter Druck erreicht ist.

Hydrant Operation
- Place the unit at a convenient angle to the water source and
within the limit of the length of the intake hose.

Check slope of the engine (max. 17
°
) - refer to technical data
of BMW.
◊
The pump must not be placed on flammable surfaces (grass,
foliage, straw, etc.).
- Disengage priming pump:
◊
Push lever (Z9)completely down, then toward the pump.
- Connect supply- and pressure hoses.
- Open hydrant valve.
◊
Before connecting a hose to the hydrant, open hydrant valve
to allow discharge until clear water flows aut of the hydrant.
- Disengage clutch - if available (opional feature):
◊
Move lever (Z3) into position "0".
- Start the pump engine - please refer to "Starting the engine".
- Engage pump by means of clutch (Z3) at idle speed (optional
feature).
- Increase speed slowly until desired pressure is reached.
