INTRODUCTION
Please be sure to thoroughly read your manual before using
your
typewriter with the
Spell check option.
The
optional Spell Check is equipped with the two main dictionaries; 80,000-word
American dictionary and 136,000-word French, 184,000-word Spanish, 150,000-word
German dictionary.
In addition to the main dictionaries, there is the 300-word use dictionary to store any
special words, terms or names you need that are n
ot
contained in the main dictionaries.
Note:
For
your convenience, key function labels are included in the package. Peel off the
label and attach it to the front side
of
the keytop
as
illustrated in "HOW
TO
USE
SPELL CHECK
".
HOW SPELL CHECK WORKS
1) Spell Che
ck
regards a group
of
letters
as
a word if followed by a space, tab,
return, index/reverse index movement
or
a number
or
a non-letter
sy
mbol (except a
single period
or
apostrophe.)
Note:
Two groups
of
letters that are on both sides
of
a single period, apostrophe,
or
hyphen
at
the end
of
the line a
re
regarded
as
one word.
