The heater does not ignite:
1. The tank is empty.
2. There is water in the fuel.
3. The ignition button is not working.
The appliance stops inadvertently and the
safety system trips.
Air the room, lower the temperature. Wait approximately
10-15 min. then attempt to ignite the appliance.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO RESTART IT IMMEDIATELY.
WAIT AT LEAST 30 MINUTES
1. Fill the tank with suitable fuel.
2. Drain the tank. Contact your retailer to change the wick. Then fill
the tank with suitable fuel.
3. Replace the batteries. Replace the igniter. Check for broken or
disconnected wires.
1. With the wick adjustment knob, lower the wick to reduce the height
of the flame.
2. Remove the stove from the draft.
3. Using the burner spring, turn the back and fro until it is correctly
placed on the wick.
4. Contact your retailer to have the wick maintained.
5. Empty the tank. Have your retailer replace the wick. Then fill the
tank with suitable fuel.
The heater gives off fumes or odours:
1. The flame is too high.
2. Strong air inlet into stove.
3. Burner not horizontal.
4. Soot or tar appears on wick.
5. Fuel contaminated
The flame flickers or goes out:
1. Water in the fuel.
2. Soot or tar on the wick.
The wick burns too quickly:
1. Non-conforming, volatile or dangerous fuel is mixed
with your appliance fuel.
1. Empty the tank. Have the wick replaced by your dealer, then fill the
rubber container with suitable fuel.
2. IF THE PROBLEM CONTINUES, CONTACT YOUR RETAILER
The wick cannot be adjusted easily:
1. Presence of water in fuel.
2. Appearance of carbon or tar.

- Fill the tank with suitable fuel.

- Call the fire department.
- Extinguish the flames with an extinguisher or sand.
Otherwise, use blankets and pour water onto them.
