If the cutting head is dirty, clean the inner reel and outer spool. If the line is welded, disassemble, remove the welded section, and rewind the line. If the line is twisted when refilled, disassemble and rewind it. Finally, if not enough line is exposed, push the Bump Knob and pull out the line until 4 in. (102 mm.) of line is outside of the cutting attachment.
