OPERATION

IMPACT WRENCH SAFETY WARNINGS

BATTERY PROTECTION FEATURES

Battery Shutdown and Reset

Battery electronics may signal shutdown; release trigger to reset. Avoid forcing tool.

TO INSTALL BATTERY PACK

Battery Pack Installation

Place rotation selector in center, then insert battery pack until latches snap.

TO REMOVE BATTERY PACK

Battery Pack Removal

Depress latches on both sides of the battery pack to remove it from the impact wrench.

SWITCH TRIGGER

Trigger Operation and Locking

Depress trigger to turn ON, release to turn OFF. Can be locked in OFF position.

VARIABLE SPEED

Variable Speed Control

Trigger pressure controls speed. Higher pressure means higher speed.

ROTATION SELECTOR (FORWARD/REVERSE/CENTER LOCK)

Rotation Direction Control

Controls forward/reverse rotation. Center position locks the switch trigger.

INSTALLING AND REMOVING SOCKETS

Socket Installation and Removal

Use correct size impact sockets. Push socket onto drive shank until it locks. Pull to remove.

OPERATING THE IMPACT WRENCH

Fastening Operation and Torque

Hold tool straight, fasten for appropriate time. Determine torque via test operation, check with torque wrench.

DRIVING OR REMOVING SCREWS

Screw Driving Procedure

Set rotation selector, hold tool, place bit on screw, depress trigger slowly. Impacting begins as screw is driven.

MAINTENANCE

Maintenance Safety Precautions

Use identical replacement parts. Wear safety goggles. Remove battery pack before cleaning.
