1. Turn off the product.
2. Place the Allen wrench through the hole

the gear head. Turn blade nut clockwise
to remove. Remove the blade nut, blade
washer, cupped washer, and blade and
retain for later use.
3. Reinstall the spool. For the straight shaft
attachment with the REEL EASY string
trimmer head, the spool should be placed so
“This side out for straight shaft” is visible on
the line spool.
4. $WWDFKWKHJUDVVGHÀHFWRUWRWKHEODGHJXDUG
by placing the two locking tabs into the two
notches; tighten the screw.
