2. Hold the lock-out trigger, and squeeze
the variable speed trigger to operate the
product.
3. Tap the bump knob on the ground until
the trimmer reaches its full speed. The line
advances each time the head is tapped. Do
not hold the bump knob on the ground.
NOTE: Tap the bump knob only on the grass
to prevent damage to the bump knob.
NOTE: The line cut-off blade fitted to the
cutting attachment guard is designed to trim the
extended line to the correct length.
NOTE: The line cut-off blade on the grass
deflector cuts the line to the correct length for
safety and optimum performance.
