Extinguish
When you decide to stop burning and all white-yellow flames are gone, you may position the combustion
air lever all to the left
You will still find some remains from wood and carbon on the grill, but this is perfectly normal. Make
sure they are cooled off significantly before removing the ashes and commencing to clean the stove.
8 MAINTENANCE
In order to keep the life expectancy of your stove as high as possible, we advise you to do a yearly
check-up and maintenance. When it is frequently used, it is advisable to do little cleaning chores on
frequent basis, such as emptying the ash tray / grill and cleaning the window.
Annual maintenance is best executed by your technical installing company
Remains of carbon may remain on the grill after having burnt the last time. It is not always necessary to
remove those completely, as in the next combustion they will help the other carbon to reach the correct
burning temperature.
Maintenance and cleaning may only be done when the stove and its fuel has cooled down !!
