Opening Release Lever
Lift the release lever to open the
Lockoff and to release the LATCH:
lower anchor belts.
Closing Release Lever
Push the release lever down to
close the Lockoff and to allow
the LATCH: lower anchor belts to
retract.
Tension Indicator
This base has indicators that show
when the LATCH: lower anchor belt
or vehicle belt have been securely
tightened.
The red will turn completely green
when tightened correctly. No red
should be showing.
This base has a release lever that
has two functions; one for LATCH:
lower anchor belts and one for
vehicle belts.
Lockoffs prevent the vehicle belt
from loosening after tightening.

Base Use
To Lower Base Foot
Push in on the foot release
button and pull the foot all the
way down.
Lock the foot on the release
button as shown.
To Store Base Foot
Pull the foot down and press in on
the release button.
Push the foot up into the base to
the locked position.
Depending on your model, the base is adjustable.
