Grounding work
Grounding must be done by a qualied installer for your safety.
Grounding the power cable
 The standard of grounding may vary according to the rated voltage and installation place of the air conditioner.
 Ground the power cable according to the following table.

• Grounding work must be done by an expert (with qualication).
• Check if the grounding resistance is lower than 100. When installing a earth leakage breaker (that can cut the
electric circuit within 0.5 second in case of a short circuit), allowable grounding resistance should be 30~500.
Note 2) Grounding at dry place
• The grounding resistance should be lower than 100. Even in worst case, grounding resistance should be lower
than 250.
Performing the grounding work
 Use a rated grounding cable by referring to the specication of the electric cable for the outdoor unit.
