4-4-13 : EEV(Electronic Expansion Valve) closure malfunction (2nd stage)
1. How to diag nose
1) During Cooling operation. (Each of the below conditions have to be met for at least 20 minutes.)
Tcond,out - Tair ,out > 3ఁ OK
Tair,in - Teva,in > 4ఁ NO
Tair,in - Teva,out > 4ఁ NO
Compressor in operation & Indoor unit operation & Thermo ON OK
Error details Indoor Unit EEV closure breakdown
2) During heating operation (must satisfy all
conditions below)
When more than 2 indoor units ar e on Thermo ON heating operation.
When average high pressure is over 18kg/cm
2.
5 minutes after finishing Safety Start .
Keep Indoor Unit T(Eva_In) < T(Room) + 3˚C and T(Eva_Out)<T(Room) + 3˚C condition for more than 5 minutes.
2. How to check

the coil terminal resistance, is there a
disconnection or short circuit inside

After Resetting
the Outdoor Unit, does an error occur even after
running it again with the same
combination?
Replace EEV coil.
