Performing the Gas Leak Tests
Make sure to check for gas leaks before completing the installation process
(connecting the assembly pipe and hose between indoor unit and outdoor
unit, insulating the cables, hose and pipe, a
door unit to the
installation plate)

FixingtheindoorUnit in Place
After checking for gas leaks in the system, insulate the pipe, hose andcables.
Then place the indoor unit on the installation plate.

To avoid condensation problems, place heat-resistant polyethylene foam
separately around eachrefrigerant pipe in the lower part of theindoor unit.

Wrap therefrigerant pipe and the drain hose in the rear of the indoor unit with
the absorbent pad.

Wind the pipe, assembly cable and drain hose withinsulation tape.

Place the bundle (the pipe, assembly cable and drain hose)in the lower part of
the indoor unit carefullyso it doesn’t project from the rearof the indoor unit.

Hook the indoor unitto the installation plate and movethe unitto the right
and left until it issecurely in place.

Wrap therest ofthe pipewith vinyl tape.

Attachthe pipeto the wall using clamps(optional).

Wind the pipe and hose three times to the end of the indoor unit with
the absorbent pad (20 mm interval).

Before inspecting the leakage, use a torque wrench to close
the cap for the service valve. (Comply with a tightening torque
to prevent any leakage.)
To check for any possible leakage, insert inert gas into the pipes
connected to indoor/outdoor units and check the connection part
of the indoor/outdoor units with soap lather or liquid for leakage test.
