Installation Requirements:
- Electrical: Requires a grounded electrical outlet. Electric models in the U.S. require a 120/240 volt, 60 Hz AC service with a 30-ampere fuse or circuit breaker. Canadian electric models require a 120/240 volt, 60 Hz AC service with a 30-ampere fuse or circuit breaker, and come with an attached power cord. Gas models require a 120 volt, 60 Hz AC service with a 15-ampere fuse or circuit breaker. Proper grounding is crucial to prevent electric shock.
- Gas (for gas models): Uses natural or LP (liquid propane) gases. Installation must conform to local codes or national fuel gas codes (ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 for U.S., CSA B149.1 for Canada). LP gas conversion must be performed by a qualified technician. A 1/2” (1.27 cm) gas supply line is recommended, reduced to connect to the 3/8” (1 cm) gas line on the dryer. A manual gas shut-off valve must be installed within 6” of the dryer.
- Ducting: Requires a 4-inch (10.2 cm) diameter rigid aluminum or galvanized steel exhaust duct. Flexible plastic venting materials are not recommended due to collapse, crushing, and lint trapping, which can obstruct airflow and increase fire risk. The maximum duct length and number of 90° elbows vary depending on the duct type (rigid or flexible stiff-walled metal) and weather hood type. Static pressure in the exhaust system should not exceed 0.83 inches of water column.
- Location: Requires adequate clearances from adjacent walls/surfaces and proper air circulation. Must be exhausted outdoors. Keep the area clear of combustible materials. For garage installations, the dryer must be at least 18 inches (460 mm) above the floor.
- Water Hose (for Steam Models): Must be connected to a cold water tap using the provided water hoses and Y connector.
Usage Features:
- Cycle Selector: A rotary knob to choose from various drying cycles.
- Dry Level: Adjusts the dryness level for Sensor Dry and Steam Cycles (Very Dry, More Dry, Damp Dry). Not available for STEAM SANITIZE.
- Temp. (Temperature): Allows changing the temperature setting (High, Medium, Low, Extra Low) for the current cycle.
- Time: Adjusts drying time for Manual Dry cycles (TIME DRY, QUICK DRY) and WRINKLE AWAY. Not available for Sensor Dry cycles.
- Digital Graphic Display: Shows cycle time, information codes, and operating status.
- Eco Dry: Available for NORMAL and TIME DRY cycles. Extends drying time up to 3 times to reduce power consumption. Enabled by default.
- Adjust Time: For Manual Dry cycles (TIME DRY, QUICK DRY) and WRINKLE AWAY.
- Wrinkle Prevent: Provides approximately 180 minutes of intermittent tumbling in unheated air at the end of the cycle to reduce wrinkling.
- POWER: Turns the dryer on/off.
- START/PAUSE: Starts or stops the drying operation.
- Child Lock: Prevents children from operating the dryer. Activated/deactivated by pressing Dry Level and Temp. simultaneously for 3 seconds.

- Sound On/Off: Toggles notification beeps and melodies by pressing Eco Dry for 3 seconds.

Cycle Overview:
- Sensor Dry Cycles:
- NORMAL: For most fabrics (cottons, linens). Eco Dry enabled by default.
- HEAVY DUTY: For heavy fabrics (jeans, corduroys, work clothes) with high heat.
- BEDDING: For bulky items (blankets, sheets, comforters).
- PERM PRESS: Automatically dries wrinkle-free cottons, synthetics, knits.
- DELICATES: For heat-sensitive items at low temperatures.

- Manual Dry Cycles:
- TIME DRY: User-specified drying time. Eco Dry enabled by default.

- Steam Cycles:
- REFRESH: Smooths wrinkles and reduces odors for 1-4 items.
- WRINKLE AWAY: Reduces wrinkles, best for 2-3 items. Drying time can be extended.
- STEAM SANITIZE: Sanitizes items with steam and high heat, softens fabrics, and reduces smells. For wet or partially wet loads.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- Lint Filter: Must be cleaned before or after every load to prevent fire and maintain performance.
- Feature Panel: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive substances and direct spraying of liquid cleaners.
- Tumbler: Remove stains with an all-purpose cleaner. Tumble old towels to remove remaining stains.
- Powder Coat Tumbler: Clean with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Dryer Exterior: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive substances and sharp objects.
- Exhaust System: Check and clean annually or regularly to maintain optimum performance. The external exhaust hood should be cleaned more frequently.
- Vent Blockage Test: A built-in test to check the duct system for blockages after installation. Activated by pressing Adjust Time and Dry Level simultaneously for 3 seconds, then START/PAUSE. Displays "End or 0" for normal operation or "CLg or Cg" for blockages.
- Switching the Door Position: Instructions are provided for reversing the door swing direction, though it is recommended to contact a qualified technician for this procedure.
