Additional keyboard functions
Tap and hold to use various functions. Other icons may appear instead of the icon
depending on the last function that was used.
•
: Enter text by voice.
Change the voice input settings.
Start or pause entering text by
voice.

: Switch to handwriting mode.
View information about editing
handwriting.
Switch to the standard keyboard.
Change the keyboard settings.
You can quickly switch to handwriting mode by hovering the S Pen over the text field
and tapping
. If this feature is not activated, open the Apps screen, tap
Settings
→
Advanced features
→
S Pen
, and then tap the
Direct pen input
switch to activate it.

: Add an item from the clipboard.

: Enter emoticons.
