Text Conventions
This manual provides condensed information about how to
use your device. To make this possible, the following text
conventions are used to represent often-used steps:
Arrows are used to represent the sequence of
selecting successive options in longer, or
repetitive, procedures. For example:
From a Home screen, touch Apps
Settings My device tab Display
Screen timeout.
Certain features and options use an ON/OFF
button.
For example:
Touch the ON/OFF button to turn Bluetooth on or
off.
Removing the Back Cover
Prior to use it is necessary to install both the battery and SIM
into their corresponding internal compartments. The microSD
card slot is also located in this same internal area.
Caution! Do not bend or twist the back cover excessively.
Doing so may damage the cover.
To remove the back cover:
1. Place your fingernail into the slot in the side of the
cover (1). If you have fragile nails, use a pointed object.
2. Pull the cover up and then lift up and away from the
phone (2).
