Deleting Contact Entries from the Phone
You can delete Phone or SIM entries from your phone’s
memory.
1. Touch
Contacts.
2. Touch and hold a contact that you want to delete
, then
touch Delete in the pop-up menu.
Note: Deleting contacts that are saved under an account will
be deleted from the account, if sync is turned on.
3. At the Delete contact prompt, touch OK to delete the
contact or Cancel to exit.
Speed Dials
Speed dials are 1-, 2-, or 3-digit shortcuts (1 to 100) you
assign to contacts, to allow you to quickly call the contact.
For more information about calling using speed dials, see
“Making a Call Using Speed Dial” on page 62.
Note: Speed dial 1 is reserved for Voicemail by default, and
cannot be assigned.
Assigning Speed Dials
1. Touch Contacts.
2. Touch
Menu Speed dial setting.
A list of speed dials displays.
3. Touch a Not assigned speed dial field, then touch a
contact to assign the contact to the speed dial location.
