Basic operations
The following describes operations frequently used with
this product.
Selecting item
To select displayed item or icon, tap the screen directly.
Displaying menu
There are a few methods to display a menu, by tapping " "
or by touching and holding an entry eld or item.
Switch setting
When checkbox, radio button or ON/OFF switch appears at
side of setting item, tap check box, radio button or ON/OFF
switch to switch the ON/OFF of the setting.
Icon Description

Setting is ON.

Setting is OFF.
Using the Edge screen
By using the Edge screen, you can access quickly the
applications, contacts which you used frequently and
display the information such as news.
In addition, the Edge screen informs with lighting, while
incoming calls and e-mail receiving.
To set the Edge screen, on the Applications screen, [Settings]
→ [Display] → [Edge screen].
■ Edge panels
The panel which can register the applications or contacts
used frequently are prepared on the Edge screen.
You can access them quickly by displaying the panel from
the Edge screen.
