Starting the Recording mode
How to use the Beauty Shot mode
Take a photo of portraits by setting options to clear facial imperfections.
1. Select the Beauty Shot mode by using
the
Mode dial. (p.20)
2. Point the camera towards the subject
and compose the image by using the
LCD monitor.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Press the Up/Down button to select
[Face Tone] or [Face Retouch].
5. Press the Right button, then press the
Up/Down button to select a desired
level of each function.
The higher the level is, [Face Tone]
becomes brighter and [Face Retouch]
features better performance.
6. Press the OK button to fi nish your
setting.
7. Capture images in Recording mode by
pressing the Shutter button.

Use the menu to easily confi gure optimal settings for a variety of
shooting situations. (p. 56)
1. Select the Scene mode by using the
Mode dial. (p.20)
2. Point the camera towards the subject
and compose the image by using the
LCD monitor.
3. Press the Shutter button to capture an
image.
