What to do if HDD is not recognized on Samsung Laptop?

If the HDD is not recognized on your Samsung Laptop, check the connection status of the HDD connector. If the system still cannot find the HDD, replace the connector on the motherboard. If the 'Operating system not found' message appears during booting even though the HDD is recognized by CMOS, the operating system may be corrupted, or the HDD may be defective. Format the HDD and reinstall the operating system, or replace the HDD.
