7-3-1. Focus bias adjustment
(1) Turn power on without loading a disc.
(2) Set oscilloscope voltage/DIV to DC 20mV.
(3) Vref to GND and TP 2 (FE) to positive terminal on the oscilloscope.
(4) Adjust NVR1701 so that the voltage is OmV DC on the oscilloscope.
7-3-2. E. F balance adjustment = ™
(1) Turn power on.
(2) Set oscilloscope TIME/DIV to 2mS.
(3) Set oscilloscope voltage/DIV to 0.5V.
(4) Vref to GND and TP2 to positive terminal on the oscilloscope.
(5) Press PLAY with loading a disc. NVR 1701
(6) Adjust NVR1704 all the way counterclockwise ( Intermittent sound).
(7) Adjust NVR1702 so that the wave-form is equally symmetrical ( in reference to GND).
(8) Adjust NVR1704 so that sound comes out normally (Nearly mid-position of NVR1704).

(1) Turn power on.
(2) Vref to GND and TP1 (FE) to positive terminal on the oscilloscope.
(3) Press PLAY after loading a disc.
(4) Adjust NVR1703 so that the wave-form is as shown in the figure.
