44 Section 2B. Settings
Alert Notification
Set your phone to alert you with an audible tone when
you change service areas, once a minute during a
voice call, when a call has been connected, or when
your phone is powered on or off.
1. While in standby mode, select Main Menu > Settings
> Sounds > Alerts.
2. Select Beep Each minute, Out of Service, Connect,
Signal Fade/Call Drop, Power On, or Power Off and
press .
3. Select On or Off and press .
Silence All
The Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds
without turning your phone off.
To activate Silence All:
䊳 With the phone open, press and hold the volume
key down in standby mode. (The screen will
display “Silence All.”)
To deactivate Silence All:
䊳 Press the volume key up repeatedly to select a
desired volume level.
Note
You can choose Mystery, Crystal, or Samsung alert
tones for
Power On and Power Off.
