What to do if disc does not play on Samsung DVD VCR Combo?

  If a disc does not play, make sure it's installed with the label side facing up. Also, check the region number of the DVD. This player cannot play CD-ROMs or DVD-ROMs; insert a DVD or a CD.

Why is 5.1 channel sound not working on my Samsung DVD VCR Combo?

  5.1 channel sound is only reproduced when: 1) The DVD-VCR player is connected to a proper amplifier. 2) The disc is recorded with 5.1 channel sound. Also, check if the disc has the 'Dolby 5.1 ch' mark and that your audio system is working properly.

How to reset forgotten password on Samsung DVD VCR Combo?

  To reset a forgotten password: start with the unit off and no disc inside. Then, press and hold the 'up' and 'down' buttons simultaneously on the front panel for five seconds. Turn the Samsung DVD VCR Combo off and on again using the STANDBY/ON button. The Parental Mode will be unlocked, and you can set a new rating level and password.
