Digital Zoom
✤ Digital Zoom works in CAMERAmode only.
✤ More than 22x zoom is performed digitally.
✤ The picture quality deteriorates as you go toward the “T” side.
✤ We recommend that you use the DIS (VP-M53/M54) feature with
the DIGITALzoom for picture stability. (see page 31)
1. Set power switch to CAMERAmode and LOCK/STANDBYswitch
to STANDBY mode.
2. Make sure that the DIGITAL ZOOM feature is on. (see page 30)
3. When you pull the ZOOM lever to “T” side,
the picture will be enlarged within 22x minimum to
440x maximum ZOOM.
This is the DIGITAL ZOOM boundary.
4. If you do not want to use the DIGITALZOOM, set the DIGITAL
ZOOM function to OFF in the MENU list. (see page 30)

Digitalen Zoom verwenden
✤ Die Zoomfunktion steht nur im CAMERA-Modus (Aufnahme/
Aufnahme-Bereitschaft) zur Verfügung.
✤ Für eine mehr als 22fache Vergrößerung verwenden Sie den digital-
en Zoom.
✤ Wenn Sie in den T-Bereich (Nahaufnahme) zoomen, verschlechtert
sich die Bildqualität.
✤ Verwenden Sie die
Bildstabilisator-Funktion DIS
(nur VP-M53/M54) zusammen
mit dem digitalen Zoom. Auf
diese Weise vermeiden Sie
verwackelte, instabile Bilder
(siehe Seite 31).
1. Stellen Sie den Schalter für den Betriebsmodus auf CAMERA und
den LOCK/STANDBY-Schalter auf STANDBY.
2. Stellen Sie sicher, daß der digitale Zoom eingeschaltet ist
(siehe Seite 30).
3. Schieben Sie den Zoom-Einsteller in Richtung
T (min. 22x ~ max. 440x). Die Anzeige fährt in
den digitalen Zoom-Bereich.
4. Wenn Sie den digitalen Zoom nicht verwenden möchten, stellen Sie
die Option D. ZOOM im Menü auf OFF (siehe Seite 30).
