Refrigerant pipe installation
2. Connect refrigerant pipes between outdoor units.
▶ To connect pipes between outdoor units, branch joints (that needs to be purchased separate) must be installed.
※ For optimal distribution of the refrigerant, you must use Y-joint for connecting outdoor units. (Do not use
T-joint)
▶ When outdoor units are installed in module, there are no restrictions on the order of installation.

When refrigerant pipe
is installed at higher
level than the pipe
connection part of the
outdoor unit, you must
install a trap at the gas
pipe.

Branch joint between
outdoor units must be
installed horizontally.
When the piping length
between outdoor unit
and the branch joint
exceeds 2 m, install a
vertical trap as show in
the figure.
