USER INSTRUCTIONS
DX120i DX120iHJ PG1
The Dx120 series represents a milestone in affordable vehicle
security design. Sanji have incorporated the most up to date
technology to improve performance and long term reliability.
Manufactured to full international ISO 9001 and SABS quality
standards. Please read these instructions for correct system
operation.
Points marked with the * are applicable to the DX120iHJ
version only
4) ALARM ARMED
MODE
During alarm
armed mode
the dash led
will flash
slowly.
The immobiliser, doors and
ignition are now fully
armed. If a door is opened
or ignition is turned on,
the system will trigger,
siren will sound for 35
seconds, then go back to
alarm armed mode.

3) ALARM DELAY
PERIOD
The alarm
delay period is
30 seconds.
During the alarm delay
period the dash led will
flash rapidly. The
immobiliser is armed,
however the doors and
ignition are not armed at
this point. After 30
seconds, the dash led will
flash slowly, doors and
ignition are now armed.

2) DOOR WARNING
CHIRPS
Door warning
chirps.
When you set the alarm,
if a door is open, you will
get 2 loud chirps warning
the user that a door is
open.
1) SETTING THE
ALARM
to enable the
immobiliser
and full
alarm
features.
Press the double dot
button (right button), the
unit will sound 2 chirps
and the indicators will
flash twice. If fitted with
central locking the doors
will lock.

Press the single dot
button (left button), the
unit will sound 1 chirp
and the indicators will
flash once. If fitted with
central locking the doors
will unlock. The dash led
will go off.
6) RESETTING
THE ALARM
Trip chirps on
reset.
If the alarm tripped when
the user was not present.
When you reset the alarm,
the unit will sound
4 chirps.

CONFIRMATION
To confirm
alarm armed
mode.
Press the double dot
button, the indicators will
flash once to confirm that
the alarm is fully set.

Summary

System Operation and Functions

Setting the Alarm

Enables immobiliser and full alarm features. Sounds 2 chirps and flashes indicators twice.

Door Warning Chirps

Provides 2 loud chirps when setting the alarm if a door is open, warning the user.

Alarm Delay Period

A 30-second delay period where the immobiliser is armed but doors/ignition are not. Dash LED flashes rapidly then slowly.

Alarm Armed Mode

Immobiliser, doors, and ignition are fully armed. Dash LED flashes slowly. Triggers siren if doors opened or ignition turned on.

Alarm Armed Confirmation

Confirms alarm armed mode by pressing the double dot button; indicators flash once.

Resetting the Alarm

Resets immobiliser and full alarm features. Sounds 1 chirp, flashes indicators once, unlocks doors if central locking fitted.

Trip Chirps

Sounds 4 chirps upon reset if the alarm was tripped when the user was not present.

Immobiliser Delay Period

A 60-second period where the car is not immobilised. Unit can be set to alarm by pressing the double dot button.

Lock On Start

Locks doors when ignition is turned on after 4 seconds in the immobiliser delay period.

Lock and Unlock Via Remote

Press left button to unlock and right button to lock doors. Can unlock doors by pressing left button when ignition is off.

Immobiliser Armed Mode

Car is now immobilised with the dash LED on solid. Pressing buttons can reset immobiliser or set alarm.

Remote Panic

Enables siren and indicator flashing for emergencies by pressing either button for 3 seconds.

Hi-Jack Service Mode

Temporarily disables hi-jack by pressing both buttons simultaneously in immobiliser delay period.

Operation in Hi-Jack Service Mode

Indicators flash once when ignition is turned on to drive as a warning of hi-jack override condition.

Activating Hi-Jack Mode

Activates hi-jack mode. After ignition off and pressing right button to set alarm, unit sounds 4 loud chirps.

Resetting the Hi-Jack During the Count Down Phase

Resets the unit back to normal drive mode by pressing the hidden push button for 3 seconds.

Hi-Jack Final Phase

Confirms hi-jack status. Siren sounds on/off at 5-second intervals. Immobiliser is armed.

Reading Out the Pincode

Procedure to read the system's pincode by turning ignition on and pressing buttons simultaneously.

Using Your Pincode Override

Procedure to override the immobiliser using a 5-digit pincode via ignition key and button presses.
