Automatic
stop
This
unit
employs
full
release
automatic
stop
at
the
end
of
the
tape.
CASSETTE
DECK
OPERATION
Press
the
STOP
button
before
turning
the
power
off
when
the
unit
is
in
the
recording
or
playback
mode
otherwise,
the
pinch
roller
will
be
damaged
and
cause
inconsistent
tape
speed,

Recording
from
a
microphone
*
Make
sure
that
the
VOLume
conirol
is
set
to
the
minimum
position
to
prevent
feedback.
*
Set
the
MIC
MIX
VOLume
control
to
the
maximum
position.
Set
the
POWER
switch
to
the
‘‘on”’
position.
Press
the
““TAPE”
function
selector.
Press
the
EJECT
button
and
insert
a
cassette.
Set
the
tape
select
switch
for
the
type
of
tape
being
used.
Set
the
DOLBY
NR
switch
to
“on”
or
“‘off’’
as
desired.
Press
the
PAUSE
button.
The
pause
indicator
will
light
up.
Press
the
RECORD
button.
The
record
and
play
indicators
will
light
up.
Reset
the
counter
to
‘000’.
Adjust
the
left
and
right
channel
recording
levels
with
the
INPUT
LEVEL
controls
so
that
the
VU/
SOUND
meters
illuminate
within
“0
dB”
(Fig.
16).

Re-press
the
PAUSE
button
to
start
recording.
The
pause
indicator
will
go
off.
11.
Since
you
can
monitor
through
the
speakers
regardless
of
the
recording
level,
adjust
the
VOLume,
BASS,
TREble
and
BALance
controls
to
the
desired
sound
level
and
tone
quality.
12.
Press
the
STOP
button
to
stop
recording
at
any
time.
13.
When
the
end
of
the
tape
has
been
reached,
the
automatic
stop
will
be
activated.
NOTE:
*
To
prevent
feedback,
the
monitor
sound
should
be
reduced
as
much
as
possible.
*
If
you
require
to
monitor
with
headphones,
connect
them
to
the
PHONES
socket.
*
This
unit
cannot
be
possible
stereo
live
recording.
