How to Defrost the Freezer
• For best results, defrost freezer once the layer of ice in the freezer
compartment reaches a quarter inch thick.
• Ensure all frozen foods and ice cube trays have been removed from
the freezer before defrosting.
• To defrost simply set the control panel to off. It is recommended to
leave the freezer defrosting overnight.
Care of Ice Maker
• Ensure ice maker is cleaned thoroughly before first use.
• Do not use boiling water when cleaning ice maker.
• Remove ice maker from refrigerator and leave in dish soap or a vin-
egar and water mixture for 10-30 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water, and dry with a soft cloth.
• Gently place back in refrigerator.
• This process should be carried out monthly for best results.
