Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment lid, and insert two AA 1.5
volt batteries (Sold separately), respecting the (+) and (-)
polarity indicated inside the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment lid.

Operate the remote control unit from within approximately

t Notes:
@ To prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries if the
remote control unit is not to be used for a long period of
time.
When the batteries need to be changed, make sure to
replace both batteries with new ones.
@ Remote control operation is not possible if:
m a strong light or sunlight is directed to the remote
control sensor,
a there is any obstacle between the remote control unit
and the camcorder.
@ In camera mode, if a recording pause continues for
more than 5 minutes, the recording indicator (A) goes
off and the power is cut to prevent the tape from being
damaged. To resume recording press the
REC START/STOP button twice. If pressed only once,
the unit will return to recording pause mode.
