1. Bikes on Carrier
Note: This is the correct angle of
the arms when installed properly.
Arms should be slightly above
horizontal.
13a. Correct Angle
Incorrect. This is the incorrect angle for
the arms. If used in this position the bikes
could hit the car and are not stable.
Rotate arm upward and slide arm into appropriate
notches as shown. (Note: Last bike cradle should
be above horizontal. It should clearly be the high-
est of the 3 positions.) Repeat for other arm and
close cam levers.

12. Raise arm above horizontal.
11. Slide arms to center position.
10. Lift cam lever on arm.
B. LOAD AND SECURE BIKES
13b. Incorrect Angle
Place bikes on carrier arms in bike supports, alternating direction of handlebars.
Pull hold-down strap snug against bike tube. Rest seat tube against stabilizer
and pull strap around tube as shown in Fig. 1 and 2.
