Why are the temperature readings on my SATO SK-8100 not normal?
If your SATO Thermometer displays temperature readings that seem off, there could be a couple of reasons. First, the emissivity setting might not be right; try setting the correct emissivity value. Also, big changes in the room temperature can mess with the measurement accuracy. Give the unit about half an hour to adjust to the room temperature, and then try measuring again.
What to do if the screen remains blank on my SATO SK-8100?
If the screen on your SATO Thermometer stays blank when you press the button, there are a couple of things to check. First, make sure the batteries are installed correctly. If they are, the battery power might be too low. Try replacing the batteries with new ones. If the screen still doesn't turn on after that, consult our service network.
